The Central Marin Sanitation Agency is recruiting for a Wastewater Treatment Plant Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician position.
CMSA is a regional agency dedicated to the health of our community and the environment, and our expert staff focuses on providing high-quality wastewater-related services for the residents and businesses of central Marin County.
The Position: Under the general direction of the E&I Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, the E&I Technician installs, repairs, replaces, and performs corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on a variety of automated process equipment, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and electro-mechanical systems as found in water or wastewater treatment facilities.
Salary: $7,264.91 – $7,628.60/mo. Excellent benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
- EITHER possession of a Grade I Electrical/Instrumentation Technician certificate or higher issued by the California Water Environment Association (CWEA);
- OR have one year of experience in the maintenance and repair of a variety of electrical and/or instrumentation equipment such as found in water or wastewater treatment facilities. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California Class C driver’s license.
Experience/Training: High school diploma or equivalent to a general education degree (GED). Completion of course work in an apprenticeship program or trade school in electronics, instrumentation, or computer field, is desirable.
