Chelsea’s professional qualifications include seven years of experience working in the public sector, mostly with the California State University system. In her role as Classification, Compensation, and HR Operations Manager, she was responsible for developing and implementing a compensation philosophy for staff and faculty, as well as implementing process improvement efforts within the HR operations. She provided ongoing consultation to managers to assist with properly classifying and compensating employees within a union environment. In addition, Chelsea also worked for nine years in the private sector in manufacturing.
A California Central Valley native, Chelsea earned her B.A. degree in Communications from Sonoma State University.
