The Opportunity

The Dublin San Ramon Services District, an award-winning local government agency providing water, wastewater, and recycled water to the Tri-Valley area is in search of a Human Resources Analyst I/II.

The Human Resources Division is a team of five within the Administrative Services Department providing recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, benefits administration, labor and employee relations, employee development and training, and risk management support to a 113 FTE Special District. Each team member wears many hats and has significant interaction with other Departments and Divisions. The District supports a great work-life balance and offers the opportunity to continually develop and hone new skills.

Qualifications

To be eligible, candidates must have equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least one year of applicable work experience. Public sector human resources experience is highly desirable.  The ideal candidate will have strengths in recruitment and selection and employee and labor relations, with strong project management and written communication skills. A broad background either cross-functionally or in different organizations, with a depth of experience in database administration (such as HRIS) would be a plus. The District and Division are in the midst of an organizational change process and the new Human Resources Analyst will be a team-player able to adapt and enjoy change and able to work collaboratively across Divisions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $93,588 – $124,284 per year, with the starting salary typically set at the lower end of the range. The District’s total compensation package also includes a CalPERS benefit formula of 2.7% @ 55 for classic members and 2% @ 62 for new members, generous health and welfare coverage, and paid time off.
