SALARY RANGE: $6,856 – $8,334 per month

 The Position

The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda is looking for an exceptional, team-oriented professional to oversee the technical planning, development, implementation, and contract administration of the Housing Authority’s capital improvement projects and extraordinary maintenance projects. This Facilities Project Manager provides highly responsible construction project management assistance to the Director of Facilities in the development and implementation of programs and projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in construction project management, architecture, engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible construction project management, and/or facilities maintenance experience; experience with public housing maintenance programs desirable.

Selection Procedures:  After the final filing date application packets will be reviewed.  Candidates with qualifications best meeting the needs of the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda will be invited to participate in an interview process.  The Housing Authority will make the final decision regarding a candidate’s eligibility.  All applicants will be notified by mail regarding further participation in the selection process.  Travel costs are at the applicant’s expense.  Applicants considered for appointment will be required to undergo a post-job offer, pre-employment background investigation.
