The Opportunity
Under general supervision of the Business Services Work Group Manager, the Business Services Coach plays a critical role in carrying out the District’s Business Services Strategic Plan and contributing to the success of the District’s Mission. This position supports and works effectively in a team-based organization, carrying out technical, coaching, supervisory, project management, and administrative responsibilities. The Business Services Coach plans, organizes, supervises, and directs the Information Technology and Materials Management Teams; analyzes programmatic practices and procedures and makes recommendations for operational, policy, and procedural improvements; coordinates assigned activities with those of other teams; and provides highly responsible and complex professional assistance to the Business Services Work Group Manager in areas of expertise.
This position requires the ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment and effective decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
Equivalent to a graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in in public or business administration, information systems, or a closely related field.
Five (5) years of management or related work experience; and a working knowledge in one of the core functional work group areas of information technology, procurement, or contract administration.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range is $120,670 – $158,379 depending on qualifications and experience.
