THE ORGANIZATION

THE POSITION
The Housing Authority is seeking an exceptional, team-oriented candidate to work at the Senior Management Analyst or Management Analyst level. The candidate will work on a wide range of analytical and management tasks supporting the entire housing authority. The position currently reports to the Executive Director but also receives direction from other senior management staff.
AHA is particularly interested in accepting applications from candidates with a strong track record in housing policy or housing program management (especially Section 8, or affordable programs such as LIHTC) and a familiarity with technologies used in the management of such programs. This position requires excellent math, writing and analytical skills. Ability to work with a wide variety of internal and external partners and to lead project teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
For the Management Analyst role:
- Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of professional administrative and management support experience in public agency government
For the Senior Management Analyst role:
- Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree (or equivalent) is strongly desirable.
- Four (4) years of professional administrative and management support experience in public agency government and one (1) year of staff supervision.
- Housing related experience is strongly desirable.
Proficiency in one of the Housing Authority’s LEP languages (Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese or Tagalog) is a plus but is not required.
