The Ideal Candidate
The Ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of professional-level environmental planning experience involving the evaluation of the impact of proposed public works, capital, and facility projects on the community and the environment. The ideal candidate must be able to prepare CEQA and NEPA documents on complex projects, ideally for water infrastructure and/or stewardship projects. The candidate must also possess experience in regulatory permit negotiation and acquisition on complex projects, ideally in the water infrastructure realm. In addition to the technical aspects of the position, the ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and must be able to set priorities and exercise sound judgement as this position will serve as a lead in projects.
