The Organization:
The Dublin San Ramon Services District is a 113 full-time employee, independent special district founded in 1953. Serving more than 159,000 people, the District provides various utility services to residents, businesses, industries, and governmental agencies. Specifically, the District provides potable and recycled water service to the City of Dublin and Dougherty Valley areas of the City of San Ramon, wastewater collection and treatment to Dublin and southern San Ramon, and wastewater treatment to the City of Pleasanton via a contract with the District.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic Human Resources practitioner, with exceptional customer service skills, and a high-level of attention to detail. The Human Resources Technician is a generalist position requiring familiarity and interest in all areas of the HR body of knowledge; however, the ideal candidate may have particular depth of experience in benefits administration and/or risk management. Public sector experience would be helpful, but may be substituted with other relevant knowledge, skills, or experience in the private or non-profit sectors.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of recent human resources experience
- Equivalent of an Associate’s degree
