Matt brings close to eighteen years of recruitment and career placement experience working in the higher education and recruiting fields. His experience as a recruiter began with recruitments for commercial lenders and travel nurses.
After completing his Master’s degree, Matt spent close to ten years assisting career services departments for private colleges in the Sacramento region. During this time, he was very active helping students find internship and employment opportunities, building relationships with hiring managers, and spending time in the classroom teaching career development.
In his most recent recruitment role, Matt worked with a well-known technology company. He supported local warehouses where he collaborated with community partners that worked with veterans (EDD, Volunteers of America, Wounded Warrior Project, and other workforce development agencies) in order to recruit and increase the veteran and spouse population. He eventually transitioned into a new role recruiting data scientists, program managers, graphic and production designers.
Matt earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix along with a Master’s degree in Career Counseling through Chapman University (Brandman).
