JaKeitha “Jay” Gipson has over 12 years of experience in federal government human resources roles, specializing classification and compensation, from Program Manager to Senior HR Project Specialist. Jay often serves as a subject matter expert for a variety of large-scale classification and compensation projects, ultimately creating a Center of Excellence through enhanced business processes and deliverables. She has been responsible for a myriad of projects pertaining to human capital allocation studies, workforce planning, position management, organizational designs, pay settings, and occupational consistency reviews.
Jay holds a dual master’s in health administration and informatics with a concentration in human resources management from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She has completed advanced classification and position management, compensation, human resources processes and analysis, and strategic human capital consulting coursework from Graduate School USA. Jay has also completed Project Management Professional coursework at the University of Texas – Arlington and expects to be certified by December 2022.
Jay is a New Orleans native and lives in Dallas, TX. She enjoys wheel-throwing pottery, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
