The Positions

We are looking for HR professionals with experience in public-sector job classification and compensation analysis. Successful candidates will be comfortable prioritizing and managing time and heavy workloads, be able to quickly learn new industries and the Koff & Associates methodology.

We are hiring at the Associate, Senior Associate, and Project Manager levels. Please indicate on your application which level or levels you qualify for, based upon the responsibilities and requirements below.

HR Associate or Senior Associate

Responsibilities

  • Project execution
  • Ensure project milestone achievement within promised timelines and established project budgets
  • Deliver high-quality work products to project managers
  • Learn to master technical competency in classification and compensation practices
  • Lead small project teams and provide training to less experienced team members
  • Field client inquiries and deliver on client needs and requests
  • Contribute to maintaining the K&A brand
  • Contribute to process and organizational improvement
  • Potential to become an SME in a certain industry or type of client

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of professional analytical experience in the public-sector classification and compensation field is highly preferred.  Corporate compensation experience may be considered.  Experience in a consulting role is preferred.
  • BS/BA degree in human resources, business or public administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.  Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Walk-on-water written and oral communication and computer skills.
  • A customer-service orientation and “can-do” attitude.

Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects independently
  • Project execution
  • Ensure project milestone achievement within promised timelines and established project budgets
  • Ensure quality control of deliverables
  • Lead project teams
  • Develop ongoing client relationships
  • Conduct strategic and implementation meetings with various client stakeholder groups
  • Review and/or develop proposals
  • Participate in business development and prospective client interviews
  • Participate in project staffing/staff development
  • Contribute to maintaining the K&A brand
  • Infrastructure improvement

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional analytical experience in the public-sector classification and compensation field is highly preferred, including at least 2 years of project management experience.  Corporate compensation experience may be considered.  Experience in a consulting role is preferred;
  • BS/BA degree in human resources, business or public administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.  Master’s degree is preferred;
